I have two themes, one for desktop, one for mobile.

When browsing to the site within Safari on my iPad, the theme switches as it should.

If I then 'add to homescreen' (In order to get fullscreen and lose the URL bar, this is the only way to do it) and then launch the webpage/app from the homescreen, the theme does not switch.

Any ideas?

(not sure what category, but I'm filing as a bug because it's not functioning as it should)

I found a work around by setting the mobile theme as the default theme and then just changing all the desktop browsers.

Would still like to know why when it's launched from the springboard it does not switch the theme though.

I wonder if the http headers being sent from web apps launched from the springboard is different than when just browsing in the standard mobile Safari...
