Hi,

I have just installed the latest Mailhandler module 7.x-2.4 on my Drupal Website v7.4). I am using MySql 5.0.77-log and PHP 5.2.17 with IMAP enabled.

When I try to add a new Mailhandler Mailbox as soon as I enter the Port Number or Username the round circle appears (I presume to check the settings) and I get following pop up box:

AJAX HTTP error occurred, Error 500 "Path: /system/ajax" "StatusText: Internal Server Error" ResultText:

I have tried searching for a solution but to no avail. Hope you can help.

I'm afraid that's not really enough information to go on. There should be a corresponding entry in your Apache or PHP logs for that error, which should have more detailed information about what went wrong. I need that in order to start troubleshooting.

Hi Dane, Many thanks for the response. I have been on to my Hosing company and this is what they have found so far.

The error showing in logs is
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function element_validate_integer_positive() in /var/www/vhosts/ballyheigue.ie/httpdocs/drupal/includes/form.inc on line 1356, referer: http://www.ballyheigue.ie/admin/structure/mailhandler/add

I see the problem: apparently element_validate_integer_positive() was only added between Drupal 7.7 and 7.8. Thus, Drupal 7.8 or higher is required to use Mailhandler 7.x-2.x. I've added this requirement to the .info file:
