This is a patch to tighten up the Event layout, particularly the filter forms and menu at the top. It's a convenient space-saving feature.

Needs further testing in IE6, IE7, Mozilla, and other windows browsers.

Hi, good idea, a whole line for just a small select box is too much.

About the last ul.links, isn't it too general?, perhaps that clear:both could be applied to a more event specific element. I'm just thinking, haven't really tested it.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
