In the Web Links configuration page, there are a few options that can be set for each Links category separately, amongst these settings is "Check to enable this category", which I assumed would make this category and the links within it invisible in lists, or maybe make it unavailable for picking when creating links.

However, checking/unchecking this option does not seem to any of these things?

It is set in the module but never checked. It would be easy to do, but could actually end up breaking the logic.

Need to decide weather to pull the option or add support for what people expect it todo. Adding to the ToDo list.

Relatively simple to do what they expect. You are certainly welcome to pull it.

This option only affects the links page. You may still select the category for a block, or explicitly request it in the URL.
