internal or aliased url as context in mini panels? [#1487776]

I'm trying to access the url in mini panels, for use in a visability rule. The url string shows "no context" and there dosn't seem to be a way to add internal/aliased url as a context anywhere. Any ideas?

There doesn't currently exist a context for this, but writing one wouldn't be too difficult. You'd write a context plugin that returns a string context with the data you need. I think at some point we are going to need to do something like this, but so far it hasn't been enough of a priority for anyone to write it.
