I'm trying to move an entity reference from Entity Reference module into a group. After I press save the field is set back to the root of the form :-(((

It's an autocomplete field based on a title of a node type.

Can you check with latest version from entity reference? I downloaded this, and seems to work.
If it doesn't work, i think you better open an issue there.

Still broken with Entity Reference rc1

It really looks more like generic problem, as addressfield module fields are also affected.

Moving to the Field group module. I haven't confirmed any of this, but I can tell that neither AddressField nor Entity Reference do anything special regarding field groups.

I tried it with fieldgroup dev and entity reference. Moving it to a fieldset worked. What setup of groups are you using?

I'm not sure what you mean with setup?

I have just created 2-3 field groups. Than I created ~10-15 fields (text, boolean, others) and started moving them into this groups. When I moved an addressfield or entity reference the drag and drop works, but after the form has been saved the field is moved back outside the group, below the fieldgroup I placed it in. If I would have an idea how to debug or how this work I may be able to help debugging... or if you'd like - I can share my desktop and you can debug it on my dev machine where it's broken for sure. I could also make a video, but I guess this does not help a lot.

Tried it out on 3 different machines, works perfectly fine here.
