Notification sound if new content after update/refresh

Actualy i'm using this by code as 6.x version does not go well with panels.

However works! :)

I have only one request: is this possible to make notification sound if there is a new content after refresh ?? :]

Would be a nice feature. I'm using this as a Organic Group Chatbox and would be greate to have sth like Skype or Facebook - a sound if new content apeared.
