Dwolla project Status?

Yes, I would love to see this happen as well. I just heard about Dwolla the other day from a friend.

Has any progress been made on this project or is it just a placeholder?

I'm with the others...very confused, with all the buzz around Dwolla, why there would be a project page set up with not even a dev release for people to help out with or at least a link to a sandbox...anything??

An update would be nice - I've contacted the maintainer directly as well. If he doesn't respond, let's start writing this ourselves :) The Dwolla api docs are pretty nice, and they include a PHP library already.

i pinged the maintainer on this as well. I'd be happy to help out where I can. I've dabbled in module dev; can't claim expertise but can probably help, at least in testing. If we can get our hands on some already-started code, that would certainly help! I noticed also that there's already a https://drupal.org/project/dwolla which is for Drupal Commerce, but I (as many other as well) am not ready to make that leap yet.

@MaineWebFX and others who are willing to offer some bounty Let's do it this way: you could assign a reward for fixing #1850616: Payment integration of Dwolla for Drupal Commerce module. It is reasonable, because once it gets fixed, you will have fully-functional Dwolla-Ubercart integration thanks to Payment module. What about patch crowd funding? Here is a link to contribute a bounty: http://www.freedomsponsors.org/core/issue/304/payment-integration. Please note that "Sponsoring the issue" means just a promise to pay once the issue gets fixed. So there is no additional obligations for sponsor except relations based on trust.

I need a D7 version of this pretty soon. It's been a while since I've written a payment processor (and it was for D6 ubercart). Will also need to tie into some recurring billing. My use case is a monthly membership subscription. Anything else you guys need as part of the module? Do we need to support ubercart d6 (which looks like about half of all UC sites still).

I don't think I'll be working on this anymore, the route forward seems to be in the Dwolla module integrating with the Payment module. Then it will be compatible with Commerce and Ubercart, as well as use Dwolla's PHP API. Please head over to the dwolla issue queue if you want to help.

I think this module should be closed down.
