I recently updgraded to 3.16 and now all my forms are blank and showing the following errors:

Notice: Undefined index: total_submit_interval in _webform_submission_total_limit_check() (line 888 of .../sites/all/modules/webform/includes/webform.submissions.inc).
Notice: Undefined index: total_submit_limit in _webform_submission_total_limit_check() (line 894 of .../sites/all/modules/webform/includes/webform.submissions.inc).

I also noticed that by default the form settings are set to limit the form to a certain number of submissions instead of unlimited. If I try to edit the settings to unlimited I get the following errors:

I found this issue for version 3.15 (http://drupal.org/node/1367930), but I am using the latest drupal core (7.12) and I ran the database upgrade and it still doesn't work. I even tried installing the 3.15 version but I get the same errors. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you're on the right track here. The problem is that (as mentioned in the errors), the "total_submit_limit" column is missing from the "webform" database table. Running update.php should fix this problem. The new column was added in webform_update_7316().

Which version of Webform were you upgrading from? I don't think it matters too much, the solution in all cases is that update.php needs to be run. If running it doesn't help, we'll need to figure out why webform_update_7316() isn't getting run (sometimes this happens when upgrading to a version and then downgrading again, which is never supported. That's why update.php tells you to backup your database before you run it).

Yes, I encountered this problem as well.
I then typed my website.com/update and saw that I have 27 things to be updated.
After clicked it, it brought all the warning from the form page. Thanks!

ps. this is error i had; Notice: Undefined index: total_submit_limit in webform_node_view() (line 1511 of /home/content/../..../html/drupal1/sites/all/modules/webform/webform.module).
