"Parse feed into nodes" is incorrect - since the module is extensible, "parse feed into nodes" is ONLY correct when the simplefeed_item.module is enabled. That's a great assumption to make, but then there'd be no need for the API.

this module no longer is an API, feedAPI is the API now so this is ok
