We tried to upgrade after the fail we had on 6x-1.2. We now get errors for update.php we have never seen prior.

What worked for us was to disable browsecap. Disable browsecap mobile tools addin. Disable browsecap and run update php again and re-enable.

For another site we noticed.

Check thee that during the upgrade MT Browscap addin and browscap somehow got disabled in DB.

Check these two items if you are having issues.
