filename cannot be empty error line 349 of image.g.inc

I've installed the modules needed and added the widget to a content type but when I use it, It says, it's downloading X number of files and the load cursor spins for about one second and then does nothing. I tried loading just two 25K images and it still did nothing. It won't even load it if I choose a single image. Then when I hit save it either hangs the whole drupal admin environment and I have to refresh, or it gives me the following error at the top of the page:
