.PNG files are uploaded but not further processed.
For example, chosing "thumbail" as a handler produces no image, only "Image" make a field being rendered. the format tab is empty.

Am I wrong?
How could they be properly handled?

hi,
png files are supported like jpg or gif.
but i dont know yet if png has the image_imge converter.
im looking 4 it

can u give me some more info?

  1. what content type do u use: file, custom content type with cck/attachment?
  2. are u uploading as admin or other user?
  3. do u have in admin/settings/file/handler
    some like attached file?

OK, it works, but I tried a too small image.
Generating alternate formats depends (logically) on the size, for example:

  • 768*922 : Image | Preview | Medium | Thumbnail
  • 336*403 ; Image | Medium | Thumbnail
  • 133*160 : Image | Thumbnail
  • 45*54 : Image only, as it already look like a thumbnail
