Forgot your password? is a simple module that improves the user experience for the default Request New Password tab on the user login page.
Reasoning behind the module:
Some website users were confused by the Request new password terminology and thought they always had to request a new password in order to log into the site. Also, the actual "Request new password" page doesn't include any information about how the Request new password process works, so it left a lot of people confused.
What the module does:
- Changes the "Request new password" tab into a link adjacent to the Login button titled "Forgot your password?"
- Adds basic instructions to the Request new password page
- Changes the "E-mail new password" button to say "E-mail password reset instructions."
