Please unlock http://drupal.org/project/danland for editing. I've started editing the Danland Theme Handbook, and I'd like to edit the project overview page at the same time.

jhodgdonSorry, only the owner of a theme/module project can edit the project page. Moving to that issue queue so you can suggest changes.

I think it would be good to reconsider this policy. The project overview pages for themes and modules are, in general, the weakest part of the documentation. They tend to be unclear, incomplete, poorly written, and out of date. If it were possible to edit them directly, I'm sure that the community would pitch in and fix a lot of the problems -- for the popular projects, at least.

mariolina CreditAttribution: mariolina commentedHi Dan --
Thanks, I appreciate it. I think it would be a good idea for me to send you a list of questions before I revise the project overview or do any more work on the Danland Handbook. I want to make sure that the information is accurate and up-to-date and that I understood it correctly. I'll try to get to it in the next few days.
Btw, when I criticized the project overviews, I was generalizing and not talking about the overview for the Danland project. The Danland overview is actually in pretty good shape. There are just a few minor English syntax errors and a couple of statements that I thought I could clarify.
