this is not a bug report but a question regarding the behavior of the default players.
I had not luck providing a player for the m4a type of files. Mp3 works fine and the wordpress player behaves very nice, but when I mix audio files mp3, m4a I have for the m4a an embedded audio player that comes from nowhere says "creative commons" ? Is this provided by the browser ?
Where can i find configuration information ?
I'd like to have a constant look for all audio files (same player for all), I did try Jplayer but its way too big and modifying the skin and css is a nightmare.
In your code in the function where you cycle through the players I placed the default return call on the first line of the function so that I have a constistent look and feel. But not a very nice thing to do.
So the question is : is there a versatile player (easy to customize) to play most of audio files?
Or provide some code for Wordpress to play all types ? How to do this?
Are you planning to add support for DewPlayer (works on other cms like spip)

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
