After installation of weight-7.x-2.0-rc1 from 01/23/2012 the frontpage suddenly is empty. Turning on weight for the content type article does not help either. I then weight-7.x-2.x-dev installed from 02/09/2012, update.php, clear cache. The frontpage is still empty, with the message "There was no frontpage content created.". The items are still displayed on taxonomy term and have the published flag. Only the frontpage is blank. Environment: Drupal 7.12, Language german.

The fix for this has been committed to 7.x-2.x.

The frontpage will remain empty. I deleted the modul, re-copied to the server and called update.php. Nothing has changed. Then I removed the instances of admin/config/content/weight and disabled the module. After this uninstalled the modul (admin/modul/uninstall) and then re-installed. Am I doing something wrong?

The dev release is only packaged twice a day, so you might have downloaded it before the changes made it in. Can you try downloading the most recent version that was packaged today?

Similar problem using weight-7.x-2.2.

I install it and add weight option for my content type "Artist". Everything works fine.
But, when I set a weight for content of "Artist" type, any articles (and other node type) in front-page disappear (altough there are no content of "Artist" type marked as "Publish in front-page".
