My site has more than 10,000 nodes, so sitemap is contructed with URL www.example.com/sitemap.xml?page=1 and ...?page=2 etc. However, Bing webmaster central is now allowing this URL format for sitemap. Any suggestions?

Complain to Bing. The sitemap.xml is a valid index file to other files containing the links. There is a specified maximum limit of entries in a sitemap.xml file and the only way to overcome the limit is to use the sitemap.xml file as an index to other files. See http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.html for the specifications we use.
