What happened to the 1.0 version? I'm totally cool with working on the 2.x version but that isn't stable yet and some of us were relying on the 1.0 version. Could you at least leave it as available?

Randal, 2.x branch has been opened for UUID integration. We think that this will be a very good improvement and will help to make integration with other modules more easy.

In a short time, I'll create a patch with the UUID integration to let all the contributors test this new feature. Then, when this integration will be complete, we've planned to create a new plugin system to facilitate integration with other modules like webform, og or field collection

Thanks for the reply.

I understand that the 2.x branch will be new and better. I appreciate the improvements that are coming with it. The problem I have is that I've got some stuff using defaultcontent right now that will be unusable until 2.x gets stable and usable. I'm the maintainer of the OpenEnterprise distribution which relies heavily on Apps for functionality and default content. We are in the process of rolling this out right now. The default content was working with the 1.x branch but since 1.x is no longer even available we are now dead in the water. The part I don't understand is why you removed the older 1.x releases while you work on 2.x.

Could you at least make that release available again while you work on 2.x?

Yes, this is a little problem that we have to solve. Although 1.x releases are not visible in module page, these are still available. I'll check with Joshua if he should put 1.x releases.

The release should be back up. I am curious as to why this occurred, and I'm looking into it right now. In the time being, you should be able to pull from the release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
