Problem with Panels displaying a disabled view.

It appears that a panel variant with content from a view will display the view without checking if the view is enabled or disabled. It would also be nice if the display of the status in panels informed the user that the view was disabled, similar to how it tells the user it is hidden in the display. This information will help users figure out why their content is not displaying the way they expected.
