Splendio is a great D7 theme with stunning features; one of them is the Footer Mega menu which is easy to configure.

Working on a multilingual website, I try to make the Footer Mega menu an i18n variable in order to display this feature in admin/config/regional/i18n/variable (see attachment).

The FAQ about the variable.module gives guidelines to implement multilingual variables for modules but this is a theme and I cannot figure how make it.

Would you consider to implement the Footer Mega menu as an i18n variable in the next version? In case this feature request is too complicated, could you make the Footer Menu a region? It would then be easy to put a multilingual block there.

+1 for mega menu as a region. It is very attractive! Clients will not like editing it with HTML. If we can assign blocks to the region, everything becomes much more flexible and they are happy!
