I am very new to Drupal Commerce and I can't figure out why at checkout the order total always has $5.00 added to it. This is regardless of the number of items in the cart.

I installed the dependent modules on my own and I have the latest versions. I did not use Commerce Kickstart.

I am just learning about rules but haven't created any new ones. I am wondering if this has to do with rules or something else.

The only way it could increase $5 is through a Rule or a tax. Why don't you post a screenshot of your checkout form demonstrating the problem?

Ryan,

Thank you for replying to my post. I have attached a screenshot of my checkout form, as well as a screenshot of the order.

(I was also wondering where I change the "big wonderful shopping cart" text.)

Ok, looks like there's a rogue line item in your shopping cart (maybe a coupon?), and I have no clue where that message is coming from. How did you install Drupal Commerce? Did you start from a distribution? If so, you might try starting with Commerce Kickstart instead.

An odd but good thing occurred. When I added additional orders they showed up without the added $5. So the issue seems to have been limited to the first order only (I hope). So I would venture to say that this issue is resolved. I am not sure how though.

Thank you for your responses. Hope your New Year is happy and a great one!
