Sorry .. probably my support request is quite silly,
but I am working with Feeds and Feeds Tamper for a large import project and still I am not able to clearly figure out what is the Blank Source field for.
I thought might be useful just to input data in targets field that doesn't come form any source field, or just to as a rewrite of some other source field,
well but it doesn't work for me. Every target field mapped from a blank source simply doesn't feed with anything ...

That's why I am worrying about: which is the proper use of Blank source option?

It doesn't feed anything becourse it's a blank source, it's blank.

How i use it is i set the blank source for a term, then in the tampar UI i set a fixed value for that blank source, so it's not blank anymore. And my term is set.

Quick and clear explanation. I too did not understand "Blank source".
It should be renamed "Add as empty field" or "Set through Tamper" in order to be self-explanatory.
