Using CCK, I have a text area where I select the input type to php. Everytime I edit the page, fckeditor adds <p>&nbsp;</p> to the 1st line. It's really annoying. The only filter that's set to PHP code input format is the PHP evaluator.

try upgrading the FCKeditor component, I believe that behavior is changed in later versions

(It had todo with FCKeditor being unable to focus on an empty textarea in earlier versions)
