Sorry, it's not really an issue but I didn't know where to put a question.
Danland comes with a white background, with shades of grey at the top of the page. Is there a way to change that in the CSS? Or is it not possible.
Thanks.

Thanks

wreckage CreditAttribution: wreckage commentedHello. I have spent two hours trying to find a 'how-to' for the OP's question. The response by cjaspencer is not helpful as there is nothing in the Danland Manual which addresses the issue (that a newbie can make sense of).
I am aware of having to create the 'local.css' etc, but can somebody please spell out in black-and-whte which code has to be changed, and the steps involved in order to change the gradient colour?
Thank-you.

wreckage CreditAttribution: wreckage commentedI've resolved this myself by doing the following:
Change default DANLAND background gradient colour
Navigate to: \sites\all\themes\danland\images\body-bg.gif
Make a backup of the original file and use Paint.net or similar tool to change the colour gradient to your liking and then copy the edited file back into danland\images.
……………………….
Change default DANLAND menu colours
In order to change the main menu colours, the following menu images must be changed to the colours of your liking, then copied back as per above:
menu-bg.gif
menu-hover-bg.gif
menu-left-bg.gif
Menu-right-bg.gif
Cheers.
