This is the first Payment release, which means everything is new. As of now, we're in API freeze. This means other developers can start writing Payment implementations (such as payment forms and webshop integration) and payment methods, without having to worry about keeping up with major changes. There may be minor API updates to fix bugs or major inconsistencies. When this happens, they'll be documented in the change records.
