The current formatters are: List field-collection items and View field-collection items. To a new user, the difference between "listing" and "viewing" are not apparent. “If I'm viewing a list of items, what do I get when I'm just viewing the items?” As a markup geek, I thought the "list" one was wrapped in a UL.

These should be renamed to "Links to field collection items" and "Field collection items"

Could this be taken a step further? I see:

  • Links to field collection items
  • Field collection items
  • Fields only

"Field collection items" and "Fields only" don't really mean anything different from each other, they both describe that you'll see fields from this field_collection.
