It would be great if you could move a file to the "private"-file system of drupal within the media admin backend and protect them from download.

Currently even private files could be downloaded without restrictions if you know the url and use the "system"-url as path.

Updated this to the 2.0 branch.
Within the new "folder managment" a feature to use the "private" filesystem for folders is still missing.
