Am I doing something wrong? I have placed the getid3 stuff in \sites\all\modules\cck\mediafield\misc\lib\getid3 and when I try to 'upload' an mp3, the page returns with the filename field empty and no file placed into the media/audio folder that I setup in the settings. I don't get any error messages. Watchdog doesn't tell me anything useful. I've read the README but there's not any usage instructions. It's also not clear if the directory I've placed everything is the right one, or if the 'misc' folder you're talking about is the drupal 'misc' folder which contains such things as jquery.js and favicon.ico.

Help! Thanks.

You should put getid3 lib into Drupal misc directory but not into 'modules\cck\mediafield\misc'. Please, dowbload the latest dev release - there is a more detailed help file.

I have the dev. version and so far it won't upload the files. When I use this module and add an audio file to a story it acts like the file is uploaded, though when I look in the directory no file has actually been uploaded and no audio shows up in the post. I have getid3 in the right place and have created a "media" directory in "files."

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

What error do you have? What behavior? Please provide more info.

I think I double-posted and the incident has been taken care of.

This is happening in my case too. Everything in the module works smoothly except it uploads nothing.

CCK 1.5

mediafield(audiofield): tried both dev and stable release, same situation.

It's a clean setup.

Well, solved my problem. It was upload_max_size settings in php.ini which needed to be set a bit higher. It was a fresh server build so forgot about that! :)
