Will the current version of eRecruiter have multilanguage profiles, for example: one user can have his profile in 3 different languages, content and labels?

Can a site visitor select the language they want to see the site in and search for profiles in the language they want?

The broad question here is, do all the modules utilized in the eRecruiter distribution work in a multilanguage context? Which ones do not?

Is anyone using eRecruiter for a multilanguage site?
Does anyone know what will not work?

Klausi or Fago, could you give me your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

Title: Is eRecruiter multilanguage? » Which modules of eRecruiter are not ready for multilanguage?

I just updated the title to better reflect what this question is about and perhaps we can identify and list the modules that are not yet ready for multilanguage support.

eRecruiter will not come pre-configured with multilingual support. Unfortunately I don't have any experience in doing a recruiter site in multiple languages, so I can't tell you much about this. Basically you have the same possibilities and limitations that Drupal core has.

I know that doing a multilingual site can be really painful with field translation, node translation etc. I recently did a project where we decided to use different Drupal installations per language. We shared the user tables among the sites, so that you can login on any of them. This is not visible to the end user, the site appears as one. Of course this is only a viable approach if the data on each language site is mostly independent from each other.

please follow klausi's advice in #3 and investigate general drupal internationalization resources on the topic

if the data in different languages is not independent, solution from #3 wouldn't work
