hyperglide commentedHoping someone maybe be able to offer some guidance on my setup.
Thank you.

johnvRevisit admin/structure/taxonomy/tpm_campaign/edit and check the field 'Select to rebuild the menu on submit.' .
Then the menu is rebuilt. See this issue for a status update of the known issue : #1104028: Option 'Sync menu' in D7
Hope this helps. Please reset status if not.

hyperglide commentedThank you for the reply and help.
Rebuilding the menu did not solve the problem.
I read over the suggested thread and although it maybe related I am still trying to do an initial setup of the menu. All work is done as admin.
I did not try to commit the patch listed there by 33 as it is shown as 'fail' on the thread.
Perhaps related -- perhaps not!
- I have the taxonomy term used by the menu currently displaying in the node page. If I click on the term, Drupal give me a 404 page instead of the taxonomy term summary page would expect to see.
I have tried turning off some other modules I feel may being causing an issue like path but no luck.
Thank you!

johnvJust to be sure: your menu looks fine, but clicking an item, generates a 404-message?
What is the URL the menu is pointing to?
hyperglide commentedTo confirm --
Clicking the menu - does not generate a 404.
If I click on the taxonomy term in the node display that gives a 404 error.
I have tried using both 'clean' and 'native' urls.
Other taxonomy terms work fine when click on. they render a page of all content with that term. (as expected)

johnvOn my correctly working installation, I have the following settings. Can you confirm you have the same behaviour?
admin/structure/types/manage/my_content_type/fields: my field is of type 'Term Reference'
admin/structure/types/manage/my_content_type/display: the formatter for my field is 'Links'
admin/config/search/path/patterns : I have set an pathauto pattern = tpm/[term:vocabulary]/[term:name]
If I check the node page on www.example.com/node/123 , and hoover over the field, it says: www.example.com/tpm/my_vocabulary_name/my_term_name
If I hoove over the menu item, it gives the same link.
If I click any of both links, I go to the term page.

hyperglide commented@johnv thanks for the replies and support.
To answer you questions:
YES -- admin/structure/types/manage/my_content_type/fields: my field is of type 'Term Reference'
YES -- admin/structure/types/manage/my_content_type/display: the formatter for my field is 'Link'
YES -- admin/config/search/path/patterns : I have set an pathauto pattern = tpm/[term:vocabulary]/[term:name]
SAME -- If I check the node page on www.example.com/node/123 , and hoover over the field, it says: www.example.com/tpm/my_vocabulary_name/my_term_name
NO menu item showing -- If I hoover over the menu item, it gives the same link.
If I click any of both links, I go to the term page. -- Get the 404. -- Somehow the site is blocking or not allowing access to these pages.
I tred on a new test site the same setup procedure running only core, and the menu's did appear.
So I am lost. Help please.
Thank you!

johnvI was about to say: "i don't know anymore" butthen I saw the light: you just haven't set the permissions!
check admin/people/permissions , under Taxonomy.
hyperglide commentedI have checked that. . . . as an admin all are checked. but is there something I need to set for anonymous users?
Thanks for the help.
johnvSorry, you drained my fantasy :-(
Comment #12
hyperglide commented@johnv - Thanks for trying!
