Expose SearchApiQuery::preExecute() and postExecute()

As seen in #1286682: Empty search fields, breaks autocomplete callback, it might sometimes be desirable to call these methods directly, without invoking the execute() method itself. I think we can just add these to the interface (and restructure the default implementation) without too much trouble.
