The 0.4 stable release was missing the core jstools files. I tagged the files in the hope that they would then be added to the release, but that didn't work. I am travelling and so unable to fix this. What we need is a new release. Steps:

1. Tag all files in the 0.4 release *plus* all files directly in the jstools directory with the appropriate tag (the one used for 0.4, but with a 5 instead of a 4).

2. Test to ensure that all the correct files have been tagged (e.g., do a checkout of that tag)--this is the step I didn't do with 0.4!

3. Create a new release on the module, using that tag.

The following users have CVS write access to the project:

dww
jjeff
kkaefer
m3avrck
ray007
recidive
robertDouglass
silence
starbow
Steve McKenzie

I don't know, though, if that gives them permissions to post a release. I kind of doubt it. But if one of them can CVS tag, I can post a release. I'm going to email recidive and see if he's able to do this.

I've checked out jstools DRUPAL-5--4-0 tag and I could see this has all jstools core files. However when downloading the 5.x-0.4 tarball, there are no files in the root directory (jstools).

I think this is a problem with the packaging system.

Do you still think we need to release the 5.0 version?

I think it's because he tagged the missing file AFTER he made the release thinking that the packaging system would rebuild the tarball with the newly tagged file included. Apparently it doesn't rebuild the tarball after a release is made, hence the need for an 0.5 release.

Confirmed by dww here.

RayZ is correct, I tagged the files after the initial release but they were not added.

So the instructions in my first post on this issue remain what needs to be done.

I just posted the 5.x-0.6 release which has the DRUPAL-5--0-6 tag. I'm waiting the packaging script run, so I will unpublish the 5.x-0.4 release.

Thanks Henrique! It's a relief to know that's fixed.

Added a note to the 0.4 release noting it is broken.
