I must be missing something, i enabled the module and don't see any link to check the info?
I added the block in my dashboard but i only have the label without any value?

Am i missing something? I didn't install GeoIP support. or any other module.

Links to visitors module reports must be added to navigation menu (navigation menu you can check to /admin/structure/menu/manage/navigation page). See also /visitors page - access to all reports. Settings available to /admin/config/system/visitors page.

Check please if visitors table added to database. If table added, check please if data exist. Check apache error log.

Found out i couldnt see any link because by default only the user 1 can see them, not the other admin.
Not sure if it intended and there is noway to change it?

So i've added the block visitor to my dashboard but it still stays empty.

The visitors page seems to work as intended though.
Only issue i've is i've checked the Exclude administer users from statistics in the settings page but it still tracks overlay links.
And i'm also looking for a unique visitor count.

PS: Is there some Graphs also somewhere?

Check please last version: 7.x-1.0-alpha4. Change hook_permission implementation.

Check please error log. What is configuration of your system?

Thanks for the permission modification.

when i check the backoffice for errors there is nothing related to the visitor module.
The only thing i can find is something about geoip not installed but this isnt related is it?
Visitors module The geoip PHP extension is not installed!
But that isn't required right?

What other log do you want me to check?

Btw where can i see the visitor chart?

Block is empty now?

If block is empty, check please if visitors table added to database. If table added, check please if data exist to the table.

GeoIP installation

1. Install geoip pecl extension. For installation instructions see http://www.php.net/manual/en/geoip.installation.php.

2. Download Geo Lite City database.
wget http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/database/GeoLiteCity.dat.gz
gunzip GeoLiteCity.dat.gz
mv GeoLiteCity.dat /usr/local/share/GeoIP/GeoIPCity.dat

3. Find php.ini.

4. Enable extension to load in php.ini:
extension=geoip.so

5. Set to php.ini
geoip.custom_directory=/usr/local/share/GeoIP/

6. Apache restart.

thanks man for the reply , this look like not be done by me , i guess i would stick with not experimenting any further and leave Visitors GeoIP module alone , but thnks any way

I also have this problem. I don't have GeoIP enabled. When i add the visitors block to my dashboard in Seven theme, the block shows no data. However, if I add it to a region on the front end theme, the block shows data. Is the block not compatible with viewing from the dashboard/admin theme?
