The Checkbox in the Product for "This subscription recurs." will not remember the selection.
So every time I change something in the product I have to select again?

I'm using the most recent version of the module that includes the patch, but the issue is still occurring.

Give this a shot. Go in the field settings of the "Subscription recurs" field, and simply hit save. Let me know if that fixes it.

It seems this patch has already been commited. I can also confirm that for existing products, you need to follow the instructions in comment #4
