michelle+1 from me. Most of the core devs don't care at all about forum and take care of it each release because there isn't any choice as long as it's in there. While I _am_ working on a better forum, it's 1) in contrib and 2) such a drastically different approach not everyone will like it. So having someone step up to care for core forum is awesome!

chx commentedDo you hear the birds chirping in the meadow? Unicorn jumping to the rainbow? It's such a magical joyous moment when I can RTBC adding a forum maintainer.

larowlanrelated #1263644: Define what being in MAINTAINERS.txt means
Comment #8
chx commentedSurely that's related but even before that definition it'd be most welcome if you'd start triaging the forum bug queue (and fixing the real ones).
webchickAwesome. :)
I was presumptuous and added you to the 7.x MAINTAINERS.txt too. ;) Hope that was ok. If not, let me know and I'll revert it before 7.8.
Committed and pushed to 8.x and 7.x.

larowlanYeah have started triage. Slowly working through the list, tagging duplicates, getting my head around issues.
Trying to spend 1/2 hour each morning on it. At first look, there's really not much there - I'm surprised to be honest.

larowlansorry, cross-post.
happy with 7.x - that's where most of the bugs will come in and where I can help most.

michelleYeah, forum module really isn't badly buggy. It's been around a long time and pretty solid. It just doesn't do much. :) The biggest thing for caretaking will likely be keeping it up with head and getting it ready for Drupal 8.
