it would be nice, for the sake of having an organized page, to have the metatag fields in the node edit form bundled in a collapsable tab.
usually this is done in hook_form_alter by creating a collapsable fieldset in the 'additional_settings' group but i wasn't able to find such function in the code.
any ideas?

Easiest way to achieve that is to use http://drupal.org/project/field_group module in conjunction with metatags_quick
