Can you please add devel feature for field_collection_item entity type created by the field_collection module. I can see you now support node and taxonomy entities

Node and taxonomy entities are part of core.

Support for contrib entities must be implemented in their module. Please take this there.

The issue #1236402: Add support for devel generate support only the devel generate module.

The attached patch expose the usual devel tab on field_collection page, supporting either "Load" and "Render".
