I'm not getting labels for start and end date fields on the create/edit form.

Since one comes before the other, this is pretty obvious which is which, but I would like to get them working.

How do I add labels?

The labels were removed on purpose. However, as of a couple of days ago there's a feature request with a patch to propose adding them back: #1250626: Add start date and end date labels
