It seems as if a double quote appears at the end of a labels if the label has a custom element applied through the expert mode display. Probably a quote is simply misplaced somewhere. I dug into the code a little but was unable to find the location. I'll poke around a bit more but I'm sure you'll know right where to look faster than I.

Keep up the good work! Love the new update. The little tweaks like removing colons and restricting number of items output are great.

I noticed this today too. I think it's on line 227 of ds_extras.module.

Changing:
$output .= '<' . $config['lb-el'] . $class . '>' . $variables['label'] . '"';
to:
$output .= '<' . $config['lb-el'] . $class . '>' . $variables['label'];
removes the extra double quote for me.
