Max length of page title in database is 255 chars. It's possible to set a such long title for particular pages, but in /admin/config/search/page-title length is limited by 128 chars (the core default).

philsward commentedI too have noticed the same issue... 128 char in the global settings... I realize this is because the search engines don't typically show more than 128 characters, but it would still be nice to have it limited to something closer to 255...
Maybe create a page title setting checkbox that will "force strict SEO length" type of thing? Or, maybe setup the character counter for each global field?
