So I've been trying to MediaFront for Drupal 7.2 to work to play a video using the CCK method, aka playing the video on a node. However, I can't get it to work :-S, even after following http://www.mediafront.org/dallas-drupal-days-2011-presenting-media
I don't have a live site because I don't have any hosting space at the moment and am using XAMPP, on Win 7.

These are the modules I've installed:

views 7.x-3.0-rc1
media front 7.x-1.2
Media 7.x-1.0-beta5
Chaos tools 7.x-1.0-beta1
CCK 7.x-2.x-dev

(I've just tried Drush, but I couldn't get that working either, with a fresh version of Drupal 7.2)

I've added a default Preset for the MediaFront.
Then I've added a field for the image, type Image, and another field for the video, type File.
I've also tried using the Media Asset instead of the File Type.

I've added some content with a video, and then added the Media Player field to the new content type, BUT no video shows when I navigate to that node. I'm very confused!

& I've even double checked that the video has been uploaded.

Thoughts?

Same issue here: no video playing. I have followed the instructions at mediafront.org for both D6 & D7 with the same result (core & modules all at current versions). I've done this both on my local server and on my VPS. No joy any where.

I also note several other people with similar issues reported here and on the mediafront.org forums. None of us have seen a published response. Is there anyone who can address this issue and provide a solution?

Quite frustrating that not only I but many other folks cannot somehow get this wonderful player to work.
If only there could be someone addressing support requests ..., either here or in the mediafront.org support forum ... once in a while ...

Many problems are similar, like having a player, which however does not load the videos, but show content the title.
May be we shall have some luck very soon.
In my case, I'm using Drupal 7.7 & the most recent versions of Mediafront & all my other modules are up-to-date.

I'm am experiencing the same problem with Drupal 7.7, I also tried creating a node player to show youtube videos. The player loads but the video never loads in the player. any ideas?
