It'd be great to be able to access flickr fotosets as drupal image_gallery so that efforts such as SWF_tools.module (http://drupal.org/project/swftools) image rotator (http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_Image_Rotator) and flash_gallery.module could show them as a flash photo gallery (http://drupal.org/project/flash_gallery).

Is it allowed / possible to scrape or pull through the API the flickr slideshow flash file off flickr and show that on the drupal site. From mybrief look through http://www.flickr.com/services/api/ it looks like the the Flickr API lends itself better to the former though.

It'd also allow for displaying a photoset as a regular gallery.

I keep running into posts where people are asking for a photoset update to the Flickr Module. Any chance this is on the way? It's a popular request.

Me too! It would be great to show all (or several) thumbnails of a photoset. Users get very disoriented when they are suddenly sent to flickr.com, with no easy way to get back.

I guess someone will have to build this. I do not have the skills, but will put $50 toward the effort - enough takers and we can fund it.

The Flickr module works well with the lightbox module
