Blog name:soundpostmedia.com
Drupal-Planet tagged feed URL: http://soundpostmedia.com/tags/drupal-planet/feed
So far I've written up 3 with this tag, with one in the queue (Drush for beginners). My goal is at least one Drupal specific article per month, focusing on modules/configuration for beginning to intermediate level Drupal users.
Thanks!

heather commentedReally enjoyed looking at Rick's screencast about designing content types, also good content about introductory topics, which is always welcome on the planet. Active member of the community, with contributions.
Not too high a frequency either. Seems like a good balance.
I like recommend it!
rickmanelius commentedHeather. Thank you so much. I do try and ensure that if I tag it with 'Drupal Planet' that it is a) very drupal specific b) useful from a learning standpoint.
I do plan on both intro and intermediate level topics, because I feel that is where I can be most helpful and add to the community.
Again, thanks for the positive feedback. I really appreciate it :)

nothing is showing in the Planet yet.
codi commentedDoes this need attention? The feed in PD is correct, but no posts are showing up?
rickmanelius commentedHi! Sorry about this... I've been planning a migration to my new company website and (working too many drupal projects), I finally got to it.
I've moved all Drupal content from my personal website to my company website and the new feed is
http://www.soundpostmedia.com/tags/drupal-planet/feed
I have a couple articles in the queue and will be publishing next week... so then it will start having articles pipe through. Can you make the switch and then I'll close this ticket when I publish my next article and see it go through?

silverwing commentedFeed doesn't validate:

rickmanelius commentedCrap... and it's on a drupalgardens site! Let me run it through and get back to you...
gábor hojtsyAll your posts seem to be dated from 2011. Drupal.org's aggregator is set to discard items that are 16 weeks or older. Take these two together!
rickmanelius commentedHey Gábor!
I was waiting for Drupal Gardens to start allowing for feeds
http://www.drupalgardens.com/content/invalid-error-when-valdating-drupal...
I have a bunch of posts queued up, but wanted them to actually appear there! I guess I'll just start publishing and hope the gardens will catch up :)
gábor hojtsyWell, the validation bug is with the current version of Views, see #1418890: RSS feed display and RDF namespaces. There is a fix in the development version, so it will likely be part of the next Views release when it comes, when Drupal Gardens could take it and get this fixed then. There are others with Drupal Gardens feeds on the Drupal planet, so I doubt that the Views RSS validation bug would be a show-stopper for posts appearing on the Drupal Planet. A good test would be to not have all your posts from 2011 only, but also more recent.
rickmanelius commentedCool. Just added a new post.
And will gladly wait until the views changes propogate to Drupal Gardens before pinging this again. Thanks Gábor!

rickmanelius commentedOk. So I moved from Drupal gardens to Acquia dev cloud and now the RSS feed is validating.

If we can now get this settled, I'll start blogging again :)
rickmanelius commentedShould be all set now if someone will do a quick check and add it to the list! :)

rickmanelius commentedA friendly ping :) It's alive and working!
mr.baileysSorry it took a while to get back to you, the issue was still set to "needs work", which for Planet-issues generally means they don't appear on our radar.
I ran the feed through the W3C feed validator, and it unfortunately still seems to fail: http://validator.w3.org/appc/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsoundpostmedia.c...
rickmanelius commentedAlright, finally validated again :)

mr.baileysSince the feed was added in #4, this is a feed update request rather than a new feed request. The feed is now valid, so I have updated http://drupal.org/aggregator/sources/848, pointing it to http://soundpostmedia.com/tags/drupal-planet/feed.

(not verified) commentedNoting that this is now for my company website versus personal.
dddave commentedFeed is currently broken because of: The feed from Rick Manelius seems to be broken, because of error "Mismatched tag" on line 11.
dddave commentedIssue is still present. Please repair the feed within the next week or the feed will be removed.

Really, the last call...
rickmanelius commentedHi @dddave. I apologize for my tardiness. It looks like the code is wrapping with a paragraph tag. I'll respond to this by tonight after checking to see why this is failing because it was operational when I converted my site over. Thanks for your patience and prodding!
rickmanelius commentedI've addressed the paragraph tag by explicitly generating an XML feed, which resulted in a changed URL: http://soundpostmedia.com/drupal-planet.xml. There are a few new errors as a result of this, but I can use this as a starting point to get this fixed up shortly. I'll respond as soon as the final version is ready and passing validation!
dddave commentedLooking forward to it. Glad you didn't get lost in the meantime. ;)
rickmanelius commented@dddave. Honestly, if you'd like to de-list my old blog for now, I'm fine with that. I have a few other pressing items that keep taking priority and I don't want have this nagging you in your queue. Once I get it to validate, I can simply re-open this thread and it should be a simple change at that point. And if not, I'll live with the consequences of converting my drupal blog to jekyll :)
dddave commentedGotta do what you gotta do. Feel free to reopen anytime.
avpadernoI removed the feed since there isn't new content to be shown.
