When I hit /[endpoint]/node in the browser, I get results and everything looks good. When I hit /[endpoint]/node/index or /[endpoint]/node.index, I get nothing.

When, from my application, I call node.index over xmlrpc/javascript, I get an empty response just like the browser:

<param>

</methodResponse>

For reference, here's the request from my application:

<methodCall><methodName>node.index</methodName><params></params></methodCall>

Any ideas?

I had the same problem, do you use prefix on your database tables?

In the service.module file line 454
$sql = "SELECT $fields FROM {$table} $where ORDER BY $order";

I have changed this to:
$sql = "SELECT $fields FROM {{$table}} $where ORDER BY $order";

And now I get results.
