Add JavaScript "Library" to check if a media query / grid layout applies

talking about grids, I would prefer to have a grid library working like 100% with Drupal (especially when it comes to data saving). I'm using http://jspreadsheets.com/handsontable.html and I found it like to be a super cool lib for by site, but I don't know if's performance isn't infeced by drupal components.
