fubhy CreditAttribution: fubhy commentedYep, the devel_themer module does some crazy things with the templates and since Omega also does some crazy things they crash against each other and die both :P. For now we can't really fix this but I will try to fix that in a 3.1 release (/note to self: need to talk to the maintainer of devel_themer....).

fubhy CreditAttribution: fubhy commentedThis is clearly caused by devel_themer and how it handles the output (its really wonky and does some strange things there). We wont fix that on the theme level!

Anand Parmar CreditAttribution: Anand Parmar commentedDear Fubhy
I would request to kindly suggest the alternative tools / techniques to develop the theme based on Omega without using Theme Developer Module.
As a non php expert I am finding it very difficult to identify the hook / template file suggestions which were very easy to identify with theme developer.
It is practically very difficult to design in bartik or any other theme using theme developer and then shift the whole work to omega.
I hope you will understand the pain.

fubhy CreditAttribution: fubhy commentedWe are going to release some cool stuff by the end of the next week (dev version). I wont give any more details here but it will make this issue obsolete.

fubhy CreditAttribution: fubhy commentedI am currently in Barcelona at the D8MI sprint but yes... I have been working on a new project during the past weeks that allowed me to start working on Omega 4. By now it is in a very usable state but not yet published on d.o. We will provide you with more details soon.

fubhy CreditAttribution: fubhy commentedThe Theme Developer module is supported by the 4.x branch now (which is available as dev version on the project page). If someone wants to backport that compatibility layer, go ahead! :)
If not, this issue will be closed soon.
