When a bean/block is placed in a region, if you have the core Contextual module installed, you get some contextual options related to the block in the contextual menu. Currently the only option is 'Configure block', which takes you to the Block configuration page.
It would be great if there was also an 'Edit block' (or 'Edit bean?') option, which would take you straight to the Bean editing page. Currently the only way to get there is through the main Block/Bean management page.

mrfelton commentedThere were 2 problems here. 1 was the fault of Content module (http://drupal.org/node/1137794), the other was a bug in bean.module. Attached patch resolves.
