I see on the CCK Scorm Field home page that you have used the Moodle SCORM player as your starting point. The Moodle SCORM player only handles SCORM 1.2 and from articles on the web it seems like it may be a long time before it handles SCORM 2004. However, the Ilias LMS has a SCORM player that handles SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. I am also currently searching to find another Open Source SCORM 2004 player. That sure would be great if this module could handle both 1.2 and 2004 versions.

Eager to see the progress of this module.

We do not intent to add this functionality. Since we are not the original developers, and lack human ressources, we only provide a basic support and updates to this module. But if you want to integrate something, feel free to contact us to receive as much support as we can.

By the way, this module *should* be able to handle "SCORM 2004 3rd Edition". Doesnt that help? I dont have that much SCORM knowledge myself..

If you have borrowed the SCORM player code from Moodle, then it only support SCORM 1.2. That is what Moodle says about its own SCORM player. However, maybe I misunderstood the home page of this module which said the SCORM player was from Moodle.

Anyway does the SCORM player for this module support 1.2 and 2004 up to 3rd edition? That would be great. If not Moodle where does the SCORM player come from?

It is from Moodle.
Moodle itself says it supports parts of the SCORM 2004 API ( http://docs.moodle.org/20/en/SCORM_module ). So cck_scorm should also support _parts_ of the SCORM 2004 API.
