I'm trying to use the modules "auto_nodetitle" and "token" to automatically set the title to the content of a "date" field in my content type.
For whatever strange reasons, the title always ends up at "1. January 2007", and we seem to not be able to pin down the reason for that.

This is something that needs to be fixed in either the token module or auto_nodetitles. See my response on your linked issues.
